Fall Season - Complete Coming Up: Dec 18 Ice @ the Coliseum Read on for details ... RCHC's Fall season kicked off on Nov 5th for girls ages 12U / 10U / 8U (birth years 2010 to 2005). We are currently skating at Mountain View Ice Arena each Sunday morning from 6-7am. Showtime is 5:30 & pls use side doors to avoid congestion w/ the church.. We aren't running a Learn to Skate program during our Fall season (but we will be in the Spring). Season Dates: 11/5, 11/12, 11/19, 12/3, 12/10 and 12/17 (Please note - there is no skate the weekend of Thanksgiving) Game Days: We'll have 2 full-ice games on 11/19 and 12/17. Email us 36 hours before practice so we can grab what you need from our storage unit. Email: [email protected] Skate & Scrimmage at Veterans Memorial Coliseum Come and skate on the big ice with us Mon, Dec 18. Ice time is 7:15-8:15pm. Showtime is 6:45pm. All current RCHC players are welcome! We'll do a few skating drills then scrimmage -- what fun. Cost is $20 and you must register in advance: Sign up here! Two Seattle Games - Dec 2 - 3 - COMPLETE (Registration is now closed for this event) We're psyched to announce two "away" games our our U10 & U12 players in Seattle Dec 2-3, 2017. Awesome! Lodging: Our Team Manager has reserved a block of rooms in a local hotel for our entire team. If you're registered, you will receive an email w/ the details. Families must move a room to their cc by Sun, 11/19. Each family is responsible for paying their own travel/lodging expenses over the course of the weekend. Travel Scholarships: We know gas, meals, and hotel rooms add up. We are offering scholarships based on financial need and other considerations. You can download the application form here & it must be post marked by Fri, 11/17 (tho sending it to use sooner is better!) Our Philosophy: We are so excited to offer this opportunity to our U10+ players! Our emphasis in these games will be on fun. They aren't mean to be high stakes or hugely competitive. They are a gentle introduction for girls to travel hockey and, again, keep the priority on fun and learning. Save the date and more info to come! Our Scholarship Program The RCHC Fund contributes to our scholarship program and buys sticks, gear, and other items (which we provide for free). This program lowers one of the biggest barriers to hockey -- a fairly expensive sport -- and helps us grow girls hockey in the Pacific Northwest. (Pls note: We offered scholarships for our Fall program but the window to apply has now closed. We'll do it again for Winter and Spring season, so check back here in January for details.)
