Girls Ages 5 - 16 (Birth Yrs 2011-2000)

Our 2017 Spring season took place at Mountain View Ice Arena during the months of April and May. It included 6 total sessions (60 min each) and is now complete.  Our next RCHC activity is summer camp (Aug 14-18) at Winterhawks Skate Center. Space is limited and, if this yr is anything like last yr, camp will fill up quickly!  Find out more here.  

OVERVIEW of SPRING SEASON: 

• Players ages 9-16 (and more advanced skaters) will take the ice from 12:30-1:30pm. Showtime is noon (30 min before);
• Players ages 5-8 and those who can't skate will take the ice from 1:45-2:45pm.  Showtime is 1:15pm (30 min before).
• Please note: (1) we may move some girls between these two ice times based on ability & knowledge of the game; (2) we have one early morning session due to the rink's schedule. Exact dates/times below: (3) our Learn to Skate program SOLD OUT on 3/31. We are unable to register any addition players who can not skate.

More Helpful Info:

• To participate, all players must be registered with USA Hockey (our national governing body). When you sign up, you’ll be required to enter your player’s USA Hockey registration number for the 2016/17 season. Click here to register with USA Hockey.  
• Gear -- If your player needs gear, we will issue it to you in NW Portland on the morning of April 8th, the day before our first skate. Save the date and expect more details via email when you register.
• The RCHC Fund contributes to our scholarship program and buys sticks, gear, and other items (which we provide for free). This program lowers one of the biggest barriers to hockey -- a fairly expensive sport -- and helps us grow girls hockey in the Pacific Northwest.  The window for Spring scholarships closed on March 17th. Applicants will be notified accordingly.  
• As you know, rink schedules sometimes change. They are often out of our control but, nonetheless, we’ll do our best to minimize disruption to our program. Thanks for understanding.
