Extra Sessions in March
End-of-Season Celebration March 17th

Welcome to our 2018-19 hockey season for girls 12U & 14U (birth years 2007 through 2004). We kicked off our program in early November and registration is now closed. With about 70 girls on the ice, we're proud to announced that we have sold out. 

Overview:  This program is designed for girls with considerable hockey experience who want to take their skills to the next level. Whenever possible, they will be separated from younger players to keep play at the highest level possible. Depending on ice availability, we hope to provide them with additional opportunities throughout the season to play RCHC-sponsored scrimmages. (These will involve a separate registration process and may involve weekend travel.)

Season Details:

​Duration & Dates: 15 Week program on 
  • Nov 4, 11, 18 (no skate on Nov 25 / Thanksgiving holiday)
  • Dec 2, 9  
  • Jan 6, 13, 20, 27
  • Feb 3, 10, 17, 24 
  • Mar 3, 10, 17 *** Two make-ups & one BONUS session ***
  • Unfortunately, the rink had to cancel our ice times on 12/16 and 12/23. The good news is that we’re extending our season for March 3, 10, and 17. The first two skates are “make up” sessions and the third one is complementary -- our way of saying “thank you” to our RCHC families! ​
End-of-Season Celebration - To recognize your player's hard work all season, we'll hold a quick ceremony after practice on March 17 at the rink. Thanks & see you then!

When & Where:  Sundays from 11:45am to 1:30pm (actual ice time is 12:15pm to 1:15pm) at Winterhawks Skating Center (Beaverton, OR)

More Info/Mandatory Stuff:  (1) A valid 2018/19 USA Hockey membership number is required for registration. (2) All players are responsible for bringing their own mouth guards (and wearing em).

Scholarships:
Our scholarships have been allocated for the season. The application process is now closed.

Extra Ice:  Occasionally the PJW get extra ice and they generously offer us access to it. This happens at different dates and times each month. When ice is available, we'll host an extra skate that will be in addition to the above outlined season.  The extra skates will be offered as they arise in an a la carte style option.  We will sometimes use these ice times to practice for tournament or travel games. Please note: We will have a separate registration for these skates; all players must register/pay in advance to attend these extra sessions (i.e., for insurance & other reasons, ya can't just show up and skate.)

Tournament/Game Options:  Each year, RCHC identifies tournaments or other game opportunities to compete against other clubs and we have a blast.  We plan on doing the same this year.  Tournament fees are not included in the regular season registration fee but we will let everyone know what tournaments are in the queue for the 2018/19 season when we have ironed out the details!

Changes to Rink Schedule:  Sometimes the WSC has last-minute changes to its schedule. We'll do our best to minimize the impact on your player's experience and on our program overall. Thanks for your patience & understanding.
