ROSE CITY CLASSIC 

All-girls Hockey Tournament in Portland, OR - Feb 15-18, 2019

The Rose City Classic, our second annual tournament, was held in Portland, Oregon Feb 15-18, 2019. We offered Girls 10U and Girls 12U recreational division. Here's the Welcome Letter  and Tournament Rules. In addition, here was the Tournament Schedule and the Tournament Game Results.

Highlights:
  • 4 game guarantee
  • MVP awards at each game for both 10U and 12U
  • 12U Championship and runner up awards
  • 12U Games played at Winterhawks Skating Center and Sherwood Ice Arena. 
  • All 10U games played at WSC on a shortened rink (with boards) in accordance with USAH ADM model recommendations.
 
*Please note that the "President's Cup" listed on our registration page is a youth/co-ed tournament being held the same weekend. The all-girls tourney is the "Rose City Classic."

Summer Development Camp w Olympic Coach
Join us July 15-19, 2019 on the ice with Olympian Lyndsey Fry. This camp is ideal for experienced players ready to take their skills to the next level. Open to 12U-19U players (birth years 2008+). Find out more by clicking here.

We will have t-shirts on sale at the rink with the tourney logo as well as tons of raffle items up for grabs. If you'd like to support the home team, please click on SquadLocker to buy a hat, t-shirt, shorts, and other neat gifts with the RCHC logo. Ten percent of the proceeds go to us, a nonprofit organization.

Local highlights:
In your down time, explore all the fun places that make our hometown “Portlandia” including the amazing selection of food trucks, Powell’s books, and the infamous Voodoo Donuts.  Portland is the home of Nike, Columbia Sportswear, and Adidas’ North American headquarters. (Bonus: there’s no sales tax  when shopping in Oregon!) We are also in close proximity to the beautiful Columbia Gorge, Mt. Hood, and Oregon coast.
